A Community of 2 Catholic Bitcoin Enthusiasts Stacking Sats for Souls — Join Us

What is this?

Our community of Catholic Bitcoin enthusiasts has discovered a unique way to combine our faith and our belief in Bitcoin technology. Each Sunday, we individually contribute a small amount of bitcoin, known as "satoshis," to our own personal digital wallets. These wallets act as our personal virtual safe deposit boxes, securely storing our bitcoin. This is all recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain, a transparent and secure public ledger that verifies and protects every transaction. We steadily fill our wallets each week, patiently accumulating satoshis (also known as "sats") until the time comes to make our annual donation. On October 31st each year, a day of special significance in both the Catholic and Bitcoin worlds – the eve of All Saints' Day and the anniversary of the Bitcoin whitepaper release – we each donate half of the bitcoin accumulated in our wallets to our local parishes.
